Czech Winter League continues on Sunday in Prague

On Sunday January 10th the Winter League in the Czech Republic continues with the second tournament organized by baseball club Tempo Titans Praha in DDM Modrany facility. Eight teams are expected for the second event of the winter. Sparks Mlade Buky and Storms Praha will not participate and will be replaced by new teams in Winter League, a second team of organizer Tempo Titans 2 and Zhingy Sharks. Seven teams from Prague and Lokomotiva Louny, winner of the first tournament in Krc, will be on hand.

The first game will start in early morning and the winner of the second Winter League tournament will be known at about 7pm. The eight teams again are split into two groups. The appointment of the teams into the groups was made according the final standings of the first tournament. The format of the tournament is the same as in December. After a round robin the final standings will be determined through classification games.

Tournament instructions as well as schedule are available at www.winterleague.cz, but only in local language.

  2. Eagles Praha         11 pts.
  3. Kotlarka Praha 1      8 pts.
  4. Sparks Mlade Buky     6 pts.
  5. Tempo Titans Praha 1  4 pts.
  6. SaBaT Praha           3 pts.
  7. ZSJW Storms Praha     2 pts.
  8. Kotlarka Praha 2      1 pt.
