For the fourth time in four games in the Czech Series 2017 the game was decided in the last inning. However for the first time it was not by a walk-off and Draci Brno ran away with a 6-5 victory against Arrows Ostrava to win the best-of-five series 3-1, capturing the title.

Draci was leading 2-0 after the second and 5-1 after six innings. But Arrows tied the game with four runs in the bottom of the seventh. In the ninth Brno came through again and won their 21st title in the Czech Extraleague.

Pavel Budsky led the way for Draci with three hits, two runs and a RBI. Tomas Junec went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Petr Minarik earned the win in relief, Ondrej Satoria took the loss.
