Czech Semi-Finals: Results September 26&27

The dominating team in the last years of the Czech Extraleague also got off to a perfect start into the 2009 semi-finals. AVG DRACI BRNO out-scored SKOKANI OLOMOUC 24-0 in two shutouts to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. TECHNIKA BRNO had to settle for a split against ARROWS OSTRAVA. In the opener on Saturday TECHNIKA prevailed easily by a score of 9-1. But one day later OSTRAVA had the happy ending in an 8-7 nail biter.
