Czech Players attend Little League Baseball Camp in Williamsport

The five Czech players Jakub Ondracek, Vojtech Pospisil, Filip Mostek, Lukas Bastl and Adam Hajtmar attended together with Little League South Moravia Region head coach David Winkler (AVG Draci Brno player and national team member) Little League Baseball Camp in the USA for ten days at the Little League headquarters in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The Czech Republic officially started a Little League program last year when the national Baseball Association (CBA) signed a contract with the Little League organization. Last year for the first time, the Czech Republic participated in the Little League European Serie in Kutno. This year CBA organized qualification tournament in Hluboka nad Vltavou in June. From this tournament, the winner will participate in the regional Little League tournament in Kutno in August 2009. The Czech Republic will be represented by the winner of the qualification tournament in Hluboka – South Moravia Region.
