Czech Extraleague: Pitching prevails on Wednesday and Thursday

Five games were played in the middle of the week in the Czech Extraleague. Kotlarka Prague defeated the Tempo Titans Prague 14-0 on Wednesday. Scott Mulhearn scored four runs without capturing a hit. Martin Muzik went deep. Lukas Ercoli, Jiri Vavrusa and Marek Minarik combined in a four-hitter.

Jan Varousek, Martin Kalabek and Jan Nebenfuhr kept Olympia Blansko to six hits in a 5-0 victory by Draci Brno.

The Eagles Prague shut out the Nuclears Trebic 7-0. Vladimir Chlup and Rick Dijck gave up just four hits in nine innings.

Skokani Olomouc stunned Arrows Ostrava with a 7-0 win. Max MacNabb struck out ten in a complete game five-hit shutout. He and Jakub Vojak also hit home runs.

On Thursday Cardion Hrosi Brno edged out Technika Brno 3-1. Tim Brown threw 7 2/3 strong innings. Filip Claus homered for the Hippos.
