Czech Extraleague: Draci, Eagles prevail on Thursday evening

In the Czech Extraleague Czech Republic’s CEB Cup participants Draci Brno and Eagles Prague celebrated wins on Thursday evening. Draci beat local rival Technika Brno 9-3, scoring all nine runs in the bottom of the eighth. Petr Minarik and Wes Roemer combined for a no-hitter, despite allowing three ninth-inning runs. The Eagles Prague meanwhile prevailed 3-2 over Kotlarka Prague. A run by Michal Zyma in the bottom of the eighth broke a 2-2 tie en route to the win. Former minor leaguers Matej Hejma and Daniel Vavrusa had three hits apiece.
