Seven of the eight Extraleague teams played their last preseason games before the official start of the Extraleague. Only Technika Brno was off, not having scheduled an official game. Draci Brno played three games in Matino at European Cup. They lost two games against T&A San Marino and FC Barcelona and won one against Templiers Senart. For Draci the European Cup was a very good test before the start of the new season. Extraleague rookie Liberec Patriots played their preseason games in Chocen against team Orlice Chocen, which is playing in the Ceskomoravska League. Result of this game is not yet known.
Arrows Ostrava, MZLU Express Brno and Skokani Olomouc participated in the WARM UP Cup which was organized by Skokani Olomouc. Arrows Ostrava played in a round robin with Spiders Bratislava (SVK) and Skokani’s second team which is playing in Ceskomoravska League. In the first game Arrows beat the Spiders 12-0 and in the second match defeated Skokani II 3-0. The second group contained Skokani Olomouc, MZLU Express Brno and the Superfund Wanderers Vienna (AUT). The winner of this group was Skokani, winning against the Wanderers 10-0 and Express 7-0. Express won the game versus the Wanderers 7-1 and finished second in the standings. In the final between Skokani and Arrows, the home team from Ostrava was more lucky and won 9-8 to win the WARM UP CUP trophy. Express finished third with a 16-0 over Skokani II. The Wanderers took fifth place with a 10-0 shutout against the Spiders.
The remaining two Extraleague teams Tempo Titans and Eagles, both from Prague, played in the Eltodo Cup, which was organized by SK Krc Praha (Eagles). Both teams were set into group A and played the first game of the tournament. The Titans prevailed 8-4 and followed this up with victories over Moskvich (8-0), Hrosi Brno (13-6) and Trebic Nuclears (9-2) for first place in the group A standings. The Eagles came in second with wins against Moskvich (6-0), Hrosi Brno (9-5) and Trebic Nuclears (23-0). In the second pool the Czech Under-18 team took first place in front of Kotlarka Praha. In the finals the Titans were the better team and defeated the Under-18 team 9-2. The Eagles finished in third place after a 3-2 win over Kotlarka.
