Czech Baseball Association releases preliminary U18 Roster, Program for 2015

The Czech Baseball Association (CBA) with head coach David Winkler held a U18 tryout in Brno last weekend. 65 athletes participated with eight coaches on hand. 35 got selected for a preliminary roster. However the coaching staffs leaves the door open for other players to get on the team based on the performance during the first half of the season.

Besides announcing the preliminary roster for the Czech U18 National Team the CBA also revealed the program for the 2015 season. Highlights will be the European Championship in Ostrava as well as the U18 Baseball World Cup at Koshien Stadium in Japan.

Program:
March 4 to 6: Training Camp
April 4 to 10: MLB Academies Tournament in Barcelona
May 8: All-Star Game Czech Extraleague
June 22 to 27: Prague Baseball Week
July 3 to 5: Exhibition Games vs Old World Baseball
July 10 & 11: Exhibition Games vs France
July 12 to 19: European Championship in Ostrava
TBD: Exhibition Games prior to the U18 Baseball World Cup
August 28 to September 6: 18U Baseball World Cup in Koshien (Japan)
