The offense scored five runs in the first three innings to give them an early cushion. Stijn van der Meer and Raily Legito combined for four RBI. Reggie Bomberg got charged with the loss.
Co-leader L&D Amsterdam defeated the Mampaey The Hawks 6-1 in seven innings. Dennis Burgersdijk issued two hits and a walk in five scoreless frames. Kevin van Veen took the loss, surrendering nine hits, five runs and three walks in five-plus innings.
UVV rebounded from its loss to The Hawks on Tuesday with an 8-4 victory over DSS on Thursday. Utrecht scored in five of the first six innings on route to the win. Mike Bazuin led the way with three RBI. Jerremyh Angela earned the win in relief. Tim Halderman took the loss.
HCAW Bussum and Corendon Kinheim settled for a 2-2 tie in six innings. Both teams scored twice in the fifth with Roy Seltenrijch doubling in two runs for HCAW. Bryan Engelhardt and Jeffrey Arends had given Kinheim the lead.
