Olimpija Karlovac continued its romp through the Croatian League with a pair of blowout victories over the visitors from the nation’s southern shore and became the first team to reach 10 wins across all competitions. Meanwhile, Varaždin and Medvednica split their two-game set, with the former claiming its first W of the season.
Nada SSM Split at Karlovac (3-13, 4-19)
In a rematch of last year’s league championship and Croatian Cup finals, Karlovac continued its dominant season with a pair of easy wins over the visitors from Split. Olimpija is 5-1 in the Hrvatski Prvenstvo (Croatian Championship), with an overall record of 10-1 in all competitions. The last team to begin play in 2021, Split has yet to really get going.
Varaždin at Medvednica (19-4, 5-6)
In Zagreb, Varaždin had a sudden offense outburst in Game One, almost tripling its run total from opening weekend to claim its first victory of the year. Sunday’s game, on the other hand, was the lowest scoring of the season in the Prvenstvo, with Medvednica narrowly pipping Vindija to avoid the sweep.
