In a make-up game of last weekend’s rainout Corendon Kinheim crushed the Vaessen Pioniers 22-5 in seven innings in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. The game was played at Pim Mulier Stadium, as the new ballpark in Hoofddorp was closed for maintenance this week. Kinheim scored six runs in the second, seven in the fourth and eight in the sixth.

Nine different players scored a run, eight of them at least twice. Kevin Moesquit went 5-for-5 with four runs and five RBI. He hit one of three home runs. Bryan Engelhardt and Dashenko Ricardo had the other two. Tom Stuifbergen picked up the easy win with five solid innings, issuing six hits and four runs (2 ER). Elton Koeiman surrendered ten runs on 11 hits in 3 1/3 innings for the loss.
