Clermont Ferrand will be playing in highest French baseball league in 2008

Arvernes Clermont Ferrand won the best of three series 2-1 of the “Finale du Championnat de France Nationale 1” against Marlins de Compiegne and will be climbing the latter to play in the highest ranked league in French baseball next season. The Marlins defeated Clermont Ferrand 5-4 in game one, but lost the other two 4-15 and 1-11.
