Danesi Nettuno continues to be busy in the offseason market of the Italian Baseball League. The reigning vice champion has a new catcher with the 27-year-old American Chris Crescenzi. The former independent leaguer in CanAm Association and Frontier League is coming from Rovigo, which played in the Serie A of the Federal Championship in Italy this year. He batted .392/.483/.900 with a whopping 16 homeruns, one triple, 11 doubles, 29 runs and 47 RBI in just 32 games (31 starts). He threw out 12 of 26 base runners on steal attempts.
