Chinese Taipei also won game two of their exhibition series in the Czech Republic. On Tuesday they defeated the Czech team 9-4 at MBS Stadium in Brno, Czech Republic. Six runs in the fourth turned a 1-2 deficit into a 7-2 lead. Han Lin and Hsiao Po-Ting had three hits apiece for the Asian baseball powerhouse. Cheng-Hao Wang pitched 3 2/3 strong innings, allowing one hit and striking out four. Marek Minarik issued six hits, six runs and two walks in 3 2/3 innings to take the loss. Petr Cech, Premek Chroust, Tomas Junec and Jakub Malik scored for the Czech Republic. Games three of the four-game series will be played in Brno on Wednesday at 7pm.
