Charles Urbanus retires as Head Coach of L&D Amsterdam

63-year-old Charles Urbanus has retired as head coach of L&D Amsterdam. He had taken over as head coach of the Pirates in 2009 and was managing the club except for 2013 ever since. In 2011 he led the team to the Dutch Hoofdklasse championship. In 2016 they won the European Champions Cup. Last weekend the Pirates lost the 2018 Holland Series to Curacao Neptunus.
