Trying to raise funds to finance the trip of the Austrian National Team to the Women’s Softball World Championship in Surrey, Canada in July, the Austrian Baseball Federation (ABF) has scheduled a Charity Softball All-Star Day in Vienna on July 2.

The Charity All-Star Day features a home run derby, the All-Star Game between the Austrian National Team and the All-Stars of the Austrian Softball League, a raffle and an All-Star Party. All revenue raised during the day will be used to support Austria’s trip to Surrey.

Austria is facing Brazil, Israel and Team USA during the first round in Surrey. The Women’s Softball World Championship will be played from July 15 to 24.
