Championship Series in Division de Honor Softball starts with Split

On Sunday the championship series in the Spanish Division de Honor Softball started with a split in Viladecans/Barcelona. In game one CS VILADECANS used a four-run fifth to beat regular season winner CBS ANTORCHA 4-2. Last year’s champion had built up a 2-0 lead after runs in the first and the fifth. In game two VILADECANS started strong with a 3-1 lead after the first. But ANTORCHA rallied this time for four runs in the fourth en route to a 7-3 victory. The best-of-five series continues next Sunday at the ballpark of ANTORCHA.
