The Spanish Division de Honor will start later into the new season than usual due to the 2013 World Baseball Classic. The same goes for the offseason hot stove in Spain. CD Pamplona announced that they have added 29-year-old catcher Javier Flores to the roster for the 2013 season. He has played for Rojos de Tenerife, San Inazio Bilbao, CB Sant Boi, El Llano and the Tenerife Marlins through nine years at the top level of Spanish Baseball. Last year he played in Gijon, batting .369/.457/.477 with one home run, 11 doubles, 23 runs and 13 RBI in 36 games for the 8-28 club. Pamplona finished with an 11-25 record in eighth place in the final standings.
