Press Release CBS Sant Boi

Sant Boi CBS will play for the first time the Spanish Women Softball Honor Division 2013 league. After absorbing the current champions CS Viladecans presents a team with ambition lead by the hand of Fernando Lance, who by winning the national league in 2010 proclaimed himself as the best manager for this season. This is the first season Sant Boi has a senior softball team, after Softball’s come back (recuperation) in 2008. Furthermore, it coincides with the termination of first phase improvement works at the softball stadium, which is made out of an artificial turf outfield and a clay infield. The team debuted last March 17th against Atletico San Sebastian, winning both games 8-1 and 7-0, thanks to a great job from pitchers, Beatriz Parejo and Maria Ramos and hitters, Anabel Allue, Jessica Iborra and Teresa Sanjuan.
