Catching Up: Dornbirn Sharx celebrate 8th consecutive ASL Championship

During the next two weeks we are going to look at a few Baseball and Softball Leagues in Europe, we were not covering during the 2009 season.

After winning the European Cup in August, the Dornbirn Sharx also secured the championship in the Austrian Softball League one month later. It is their eighth consecutive title. During the regular season the Sharx won all 18 games and sealed the championship by beating the Pee Wees St. Poelten twice during the final four tournament in Vienna.
