T&A San Marino is making a roster change. Venezuelan shortstop Carlos Colmenares is going to replace outfielder Carlos Duran on the roster. The 30-year-old switch hitter is a former Minor Leaguer with the Los Angeles Angels organization, where he batted .269/.344/.349 in 301 games. The past few years he played in independent leagues, in Venezuela and in Mexico.
In January it was expected that Colmenares is going to join Unipol Bologna for the 2016 season. However in February there was a change of heart and Bologna replaced him with Ronny Cedeno. Colmenares is expected to suit up against Padua this coming weekend.
