The picture for the Italian Winter League finals is getting clearer. Three more clubs qualified last Sunday for the final tournament, which will be held on March 9th in Bologna.
The Autofficina Athletics, which will host the event in two weeks, clinched a berth for themselves as they celebrated the Emilia Romagna championship, defeating Tipografia Parma 5-4 in a dramatic title game.
Junior Grosseto I defeated BSC Arezzo and Mastiff Arezzo during the final round robin to succeed in the Toscana pool.
And finally BC Cairese won their games easily and stayed undefeated in the Liguria group.
The three clubs will join last year’s champion San Martino Junior and the winner of the Trofeo Cariparo (finals next weekend) to determine the Italian Winter League champion in Bologna on March 9th.
