BaseballSoftballUK and UK-based Baseball Outlet are pleased to announce that Baseball Outlet has been named as “Official Equipment Supplier” for BaseballSoftballUK and its programmes. The announcement comes following BaseballSoftballUK’s invitation to tender for Playing Equipment at the end of last year and a competitive review.

Opened by Joe Black in 2017, Baseball Outlet is a specialist supplier of sports equipment and clothing based in Merseyside where they operate retail premises, in-house garment decoration and a warehouse. Baseball Outlet works with top brands including Easton, Rawlings, adidas, Wilson, Louisville Slugger, DeMarini, and Evoshield, and already services leading adult and youth baseball and fastpitch softball teams around the country. Baseball Outlet is part of the EP Sports brand, which counts nearly 15 years’ experience working with top brands and is now the largest American Sports store in Europe.

Baseball Outlet and BSUK first partnered together in 2019, with Baseball Outlet being named as “Official Wearable Kit Supplier” following a separate tender process. Baseball Outlet has been providing free team shops to any club or organisation since January 2019, as well as being the lead sponsor of several BSUK events, including the annual Coach Summit and a number of Mitel & MLB present London Series 2019 legacy events.

With the addition of Playing Equipment, Baseball Outlet will now be BSUK’s primary provider for all kit and equipment through at least 2024, including bats, gloves, custom team jerseys, team gear, practice equipment and more. Clubs, teams, and organisations will have the ability to purchase playing equipment directly from Baseball Outlet, or via their custom team store. Clubs that have yet to set up a free team store can do so by contacting Tom Wrightson here.

Commenting on the partnership, Joe Black, said, “We are incredibly excited to expand our relationship with BaseballSoftballUK as their Official Equipment Supplier. With the addition of Playing Equipment to our Wearable Kit offering, we look forward to being a one-stop shop for all baseball and softball gear in the UK and across Europe.”

“We’re very excited to have Baseball Outlet take on the role of Official Equipment Supplier,” said John Boyd, BaseballSoftballUK CEO. “The biggest beneficiaries of this deal will be our baseball and softball community, and we couldn’t be happier with the service that Baseball Outlet has provided so far. Joe Black and his team have demonstrated time and time again their commitment to providing baseball and softball players with top-rated brands and products, and we look forward to working with them even more closely in the years to come.”

For enquiries, please contact Baseball Outlet’s Tom Wrightson or BSUK’s Chris Knoblock, and visit the new site here.
