The Australian Baseball League starts into the 2013/2014 season on Thursday. The Brisbane Bandits released their 35-man roster this week. 26 Australians and 9 foreign players are hoping for the first postseason appearance for Brisbane in the ABL. Manager Kevin Jordan can rely on catcher Ryan Battaglia, infielder Brad Dutton and outfielder Josh Roberts to pace the offense. Prospect Sam Holland and Ryan Searle of the Chicago Cubs are names to keep an eye on at the pitching front.
