The Mexican League club Bravos de Leon has released German outfielder Donald Lutz after just ten games into the 2017 season. The 28-year-old batted .289/.378/.316 with one double, eight runs scored and five RBI during that time. After nine years with the Cincinnati Reds, which included 60-plus games in the big leagues as the first player raised and developed in Germany, he became a minor league free agent at the end of last year’s campaign.
