Boston Redsox sign German Pitching prospect Jennel Hudson

Jennel Hudson (age 17) was signed by the Boston Redox to a minor league contract for 2008. Hudson is 6 foot 5 and pitched for the German Junior National Team at the European Championship in Rosmalen (Netherlands) this year. His homeclub are the Cologne Cardinals (German 1st League). The right hander was signed at the Major League Baseball Academy in Italy.
