Rain has stopped briefly the thrilling pitcher’s duel between Unipol Bologna and Telemarket Rimini. Jesus Matos (BOL) and Francisco Cruceta (RIM) faced off in a classic, combining to allow just four hits and four walks in the first 13 half innings, while striking out 19. The game was eventually stopped in the eighth inning with the score tied at 0-0. It will be resumed at this point at a later date. With the series switching to Rimini for the Friday and Saturday games it is not clear if it will be continued this weekend.
