Bois Guillaume and Compiegne play for 2010 Elite League Spot

Posted on October 14, 2009 by philipp

Bois Guillaume and the Marlins Compiegne have reached the Nationale 1 League Finals (second division in France) in France and will compete for a spot in the 2010 French Elite League in a best-of-three series on October 24&25. Bois Guillaume, which had lost the finals in 2008 against the Cougars Montigny, defeated Dunkerque 12-6 and 20-4 last weekend. Compiegne was supposed to play against Paris UC, which got relegated from the French Elite League after the 2008 season. But PUC didn’t show up and forfeited the semi-finals.
