The Belgium Series between the Deurne Spartans and the Borgerhout Squirrels will reach its climax this weekend. Games four and potential five will determine the Belgian Baseball Championship. The Deurne lead the best-of-five series 2-1 after 4-2 and 15-7 wins in games one and three of the series. Borgerhout’s lone win came through a forfeit due to an ineligible player of the Spartans in game two. The Squirrels had won the regular season and are the defending champions.
