Belgian First Division opens 2011 Season on April 9

After the promotion of the Borgerhout Squirrels back to eight teams the Belgian First Division opens the 2011 season on April 9. The regular season is going to be played until the end of June. As usual two games will be played per series each weekend. On opening day defending champion Hoboken Pioneers will take on the Merchtem Cats, runner up Deurne Spartans face the Mortsel Stars, the Squirrels play against the Namur Angels and the Brasschaat Braves square off with the Port of Antwerp Greys.
