The new baseball stadium in Třebíč, Czech Republic, which was completed last year and will host the European Championship Cadets this year, currently also serves for ice skating. An ice surface is all around the field and is more than 400 meters long.

Visitors are warmly welcomed, as the skating is free. On the first day 500 visitors came to skate there. The stadium is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm and will be used as long as possible. As president of Třebíč Nuclears baseball club Jan Urbánek explained: “We will be glad if new area will be used by as much by the people as possible. We sent the offer of ice skating to all Třebíč schools and mass media in our region.”

The project is supported by the city town hall. “Our aim is not only to represent the city of Třebíč in baseball, which we do in fact especially thanks to our successful youth baseball players, but also offer to children and their parents, quality possibilities of how to spend their leisure time. Visitors should find here a place for relaxation, active rest and active sport show,” adds Jan Urbánek.
