On a day where rain caused delays in Rotterdam, all four pools of the European Baseball Championship managed to complete a full schedule, with Germany and Spain winning by large margins in Pool A, and the Netherlands and Israel winning back-and-forth games in the other top pool. Meanwhile, Italy and Greece moved to the pole position in the third grouping, and Croatia and Austria earned wins in Pool D. The nightcap from Rotterdam saw a sellout crowd of around 3,000 enjoy a rollercoaster game between the Netherlands and Great Britain that saw the hosts pull away in a crucial victory.

Czech Republic 1 – Germany 8
Sweden 0 – Spain 15 (5)

Pool B

Netherlands 9 – Great Britain 3

Pool C
