Baseball besides European Championship

Posted on July 23, 2010 by philipp

While the 2010 European Championship in Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Neuenburg starts on Friday, league play in Austria, Great Britain and Switzerland continues nonetheless. In the Austrian Baseball League two matchups highlight the game day. The third-ranked Kufstein Vikings host the leading Vienna Wanderers and the Athletics Attnang-Puchheim travel to Schwaz to take on the Tigers. On Sunday the British National Baseball League and the Swiss Nationalliga A also have scheduled a few games. In the NBL the battle for third place between Southampton and Richmond highlights this week’s action. In Switzerland the Embrach Mustangs hope to solidify second place against the Lausanne Indians in one of the two doubleheaders.
