The Baseball Digest published an article on Greg Frady on Tuesday, the head coach at Georgia State and of the German National Team. He is now also helping the Brazilian Baseball Federation.
Quote:
Greg Frady is no stranger to resurrecting baseball programs. Georgia State had just three winning seasons in its 40-plus-year baseball history before he took over as head coach and in 2008, just his second year, led the squad to its most wins ever (33). The German National Team, which was on the brink of extinction in the year prior to his appointment at the helm, is now a viable European program. Now Frady is lending his knowledge of baseball and leadership to the nascent Brazilian Baseball Federation in an attempt to expand the sport in one of the few Latin American countries to not yet have experienced its growth.
