The Czech Baseball Association (CBA) released its preliminary roster for the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Arizona next month. Manager Mike Griffin selected 38 players including catcher Martin Cervenka, Alex and Eric Sogard as well as former Major Leaguer Brett Tomko. The Czech team is slotted into a pool with Spain, Great Britain, Panama, Philippines and New Zealand.
