The Bad Homburg Hornets are adding Gary Owens and Christopher Ciatti to fill their open foreign player spots on the roster for the 2015 season. Owens is a 28-year-old pitcher and outfielder from South Carolina. The Hornets hope that he will dominate as pitcher in game two, while also providing power at the plate. He has played in various independent leagues in the United States and in the South Australian Baseball League. Ciatti is coming from the third-division club Ulm Falcons to Bad Homburg, where he played the past three years. He is a catcher and corner infielder. Both will also support head coach Martin Matlacki as assistant coaches.
