We kind of missed it, but AVG Draci Brno has lost its first game of the season, as MZLU Express celebrated a 13-3 win on Wednesday. AVG Draci missed Wayne Ough, Jakub Hajtmar, Thomas Cervinka and head coach Arnost Nesnal and showed some fatigue following the demanding European Cup at the AVG Arena last week. With the win MZLU Express moved back into a tie for second place in the Czech Extraleague standings.
AVG Draci is back on the field tonight, as they take on the seventh-ranked Arrows Ostrava in a night game. Game two follows on Saturday afternoon. Additionally three more doubleheaders are scheduled. The game day concludes on Sunday with a make-up of the April 17 rainout between Hrosi Brno and Eagles Prague.
