AVG Draci completes Sweep in Czech Extraleague, Technika avoids it

Defending champion AVG Draci Brno completed a sweep in the semi-finals by shutting out the Eagles Prague 4-0 in game three on Saturday. Pat Ahearne and Wayne Ough combined to pitch the nine scoreless innings for the Dragons. Pavel Budsky drove in the first run of the game in the fifth.

AVG Draci has to wait until Tuesday evening to know about their opponent, as Technika Brno avoided the sweep in the second matchup with a 9-8 extra-inning over MZLU Express Brno. The fourth game of the series was postponed until Tuesday morning due to rain. A decisive game five would follow in the afternoon.
