Austrian Playoffs: Wanderers with 2 Wins, A’s and Tigers split

In the Austrian Baseball League the playoffs started this weekend and regular season winner SUPERFUND WANDERERS got off to a perfect start. They won games one and two of the series against the VIKINGS 3-1, respective 11-2 and only need one more victory to clinch a spot in the finals. Reigning champion MOSQUITO ATHLETICS settled for a split against the TIGERS. ATTNANG-PUCHHEIM won game one by a score of 7-4. In the second match SCHWAZ had the better end with a lopsided 9-1. Games three to possible five will be held next weekend.
