The Dornbirn Indians have taken a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Austrian Finals over the Vienna Metrostars. The Indians won games one and two 6-1 and 9-2 after strong pitching performances by Ryan Rupp and Russell Thompson. Games three to five will be played next weekend at the home ballpark of the Indians in Dornbirn. If the series extends further, games six and seven are scheduled for October 26 in Vienna.
