The semi-finals in the Austrian Baseball League started successfully for the defending champion Vienna Wanderers. In a rematch of last year’s finals they celebrated 15-3 and 12-3 wins over the Diving Ducks. In the second matchup the Dornbirn Indians and Vienna Metrostars split the first two games. The Indians won game one 6-5, while the Metrostars prevailed 18-6 in the second.
