The Athletics Attnang-Puchheim and the Diving Ducks Wiener Neustadt have clinched a spot in the Austrian Baseball League finals on Saturday. The Athletics overcame a 0-3 deficit against the Stock City Cubs to win the best-of-seven semi-final series 4-3. The A’s won games six and seven 3-0 and 15-2 on Saturday to complete the Boston Red Sox like comeback. Meanwhile the Diving Ducks prevailed in six games over the Vienna Metrostars. They clinched the semi-finals win with a 10-4 victory.
