Even though finishing third at the SUMA Open / PONY European Zone Championship in Prague in April, Austria is going to represent Europe at the PONY League World Series in Washington, Pennsylvania from August 9 to 15. Winner Netherlands and runner-up Germany will have players of the PONY teams participating in the WBSC U15 Baseball World Cup in August in Panama and therefore won’t be able to compete in the PONY League World Series. Austria already participated in 2015.
