Austria, Czech Republic play Exhibition Series in advance of U23 Baseball World Cup

Austria and Czech Republic will represent European Baseball at the U23 Baseball World Cup in Monterrey, Mexico from October 28 to November 6. To finish up preparations for the tournament the Austrian Baseball Federation has announced a three-game exhibition series between Austria and the Czech Republic. On October 7 both teams will meet at 6pm in Vienna, on October 16 at 1pm in Brno. Austria will leave for Mexico on October 21. They will face Japan, Chinese Taipei, Australia, Nicaragua and Argentina in group B during first-round play. The Czech Republic is slotted into group A together with Mexico, Korea, Venezuela, Panama and South Africa.
