The 26-year-old left-handed reliever Adam Bright is joining the Yomiuri Giants in Japan according to a report by Baseball.it. The southpaw got released by the Colorado Rockies after last year’s spring training. He joined the Italian Baseball League club Telemarket Rimini, but didn’t really celebrate a successful stint with the Pirates, taking the mound for just 5 1/3 innings. He is currently playing for the Melbourne Aces in the Australian Baseball League, where he has an ERA of 2.21 in 20 1/3 innings, striking out 20 batters and walking ten.
