Posted on February 19, 2015February 19, 2015 by philipp

Following the signing of Yomier Camacho, ASD Parma is adding two more players for the 2015 season in the Italian Baseball League. Jose Miguel Jimenez is a 27-year-old Venezuelan left-handed pitcher. He spent eight years in the Seattle Mariners organization and then in independent league baseball. During the winters he pitched in the Venezuelan Winter League. During his professional career he has an ERA of 4.21 in 417 games.

He will be joined by Freddy Noguera. The 23-year-old is a Venezuelan infielder with Italian passport. He is coming from San Inazio Bilbao, where he batted .400 with two triples, 10 doubles, 39 runs and 20 RBI during the 2014 season. He also stole 20 bases in 25 attempts. With Italy he played in the inaugural 21U Baseball World Cup in Taichung last November.
