Arvernes Clermont-Ferrand end long streak of Templiers Senart

Rouen Huskies – Paris UC 4-3, 14-0

The HUSKIES extended their winning streak to eight games with a sweep against PUC. They overcame a 1-3 deficit in the first match and won through a sac fly by Jordan Bert in the eighth, after Jean-Baptiste Couton had reached with a double. ROUEN had tied the game in the sixth. PARIS had scored three runs in the fourth to take the lead. Alexandre Sochon (ROU) and Tim Stewart (PUC, loss) started.  Laurent Aoutin picked up the win for three scoreless innings of relief.

The second part of the doubleheader was not that thrilling. The HUSKIES started with three runs en route to a 14-0 shutout in seven innings. Giovanni Ouin pitched five innings for the win. Fred Mouchet took the loss.

Templiers Senart – Arvernes Clermont-Ferrand 8-4, 4-5 (12)

After winning game one 8-4 against CLERMONT-FERRAND, the undefeated streak for SENART was stopped in the second part of the doubleheader after 19 consecutive wins, when they lost 4-5 in twelve innings. They still lead in the standings of the Elite League with a 20-2 record. The ARVERNES stay in seventh place with a 9-17 record.

Stade Toulouse – Savigny Lions 4-8, 4-7

TOULOUSE lost both games at home against SAVIGNY and dropped to fifth in the standings. They still have four games left in the regular season, including two against the rival for the last spot in the playoffs, MONTPELLIER.

Montpellier Barracudas – La Guerche Hawks 20-0, 16-6

The BARRACUDAS scored 36 runs in two games to crush LA GUERCHE 20-0 and 16-6 the past weekend, moving their record back to .500 and taking fourth from TOULOUSE. They scored twelve runs in one inning in the first match. Thomas Langloys and Nathan French picked up easy wins. Anthony Piquet (GUE) was hit hard in the 0-20 pounding.
