Arrows Ostrava win Czech Cup 2014

Posted on October 7, 2014 by philipp

The Arrows Ostrava have won the Czech Cup tournament 2014. They defeated Kotlarka Prague 4-3 in the final game on Sunday at the Final Four in Chocen. Kotlarka had beaten the Arrows 5-4 on Friday, but Ostrava edged out Technika Brno 6-5 on Saturday and Draci Brno 8-5 on Sunday morning to reach the cup final anyway. Kotlarka advanced after an 8-7 nail-biter over Draci on Saturday, but couldn’t use the extra rest to its advantage in the final. With the cup win, Arrows Ostrava also clinched a spot in the 2015 European Cups.
