After going 0-for-4 the day before, he batted 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs and a RBI in a 6-5 win of his Peoria Javelinas. The center fielder is now hitting .194 in the AFL.
Max Kepler won with his Glendale Desert Dogs 6-4 against the Mesa Solar Sox. The first baseman walked once in four hitless plate appearances, dropping his batting average to .222. He also committed his third error (fielding). South Africa’s Gift Ngoepe went 0-for-2 with a walk and a RBI on Tuesday playing for the Scottsdale Scorpions.
