Another tough match up for Tornados

Posted on April 18, 2008 by philipp

The TORNADOS, who played already against the champion and runner up of last year’s Bundesliga campaign hosts the HEIDEKOEPFE this weekend. They their season with two offensive outbursts in Mainz and are off to a good start. The harmstring of Mike Hartley, who made his debut with two relief innings, healed quickly and he could square off with Eddie Aucoin in the second part of the doubleheader.

The ATLETICS hope for their first victory of the season on the road against the ATOMICS. They are already under pressure after losing the first four games.

In the north the UNTOUCHABLES travel to Hanover with two new players. They signed the Hawaiians Cy Donald and Gavin Ng this week. Both already had committed to play for the Belgian ROYAL GREYS this winter, but rethought their decisions shortly after their arrival in Europe.

The ALLIGATORS will say goodbye to their long-time catcher Kai Gronauer against the NIGHTMARES. He agreed on terms with the NEW YORK METS organization the past few days and will go to Florida in the next two weeks.
